my child is 8 months old ,weight 9.5 has running nose and dry cough, but has no fever, started giving (beta2 ) 3 ml 2 times a day, also gave 0.5ml this after noon of (fexadine) just gave 1 time , if the symptoms are progressive i have cefpodoxime oral suspension ip monoral 100, should i give 3.5ml or 5 ml . please advise.

Beta2 is salbutamol which is given when your child has wheezy chest. the dose 3ml twice a day is not enough for a child who is 9.5 kg. 0.5 ml fexofenadine is also very low . I think you stop beta2 for now and just use fexofenadine 2.5ml twice a day along with nasal drop (saline nose drop). No fever mean no severe infection, so no need to use cefpodoxime antibiotic. Visit hospital if u need further inquiry or if the child doesnt improve in few days.

From where did you took the medicine from? You can give 5 ml if its 5ml=100 mg solution. But better take antibiotics from registered doctor prescription only when suggested.
