I have a pilonidal sinus and two terminal points are within half inches.How big will the crater be after surgery??How long will it require to recover from the surgery? I've come to know that ayurvedic uses Kshar Ksutra to treat it without a crater.Is it fine to opt for such treatment?

Thank you for the question. For determining the extent of depth need to examine and is only sure after surgery. Its minor procedure and can be discharged after a day. Ayurvedic treatment options are also there but arw doubtful for the better care. We recommend you to visit a general surgeon and get expert opinion.
