Is blood test essential for Isotretinoin prescription only or is it required for topical tretinoin prescription as well?

For oral isotretinoin only but i strongly recommend you to consult a registered dermatologist before starting topical or oral retinoid because these are controlled drugs and if not properly applied or taken can do more harm
