Hi. Im 19 yr., female. I have mildly swollen lymph nodes in neck for about 2,5 years now. One on the right and one on the left side of neck. They are 1-1,2 cm in size. When I noticed them I had ultrasound from which doctor said that they are probably reactive l. nodes. Blood work was fine. Today, I can still feel the l. nodes, but they aren't visible on the surface of the skin. They are moveable and are quite 'rubbery'. I dont have fever or night sweats, but I lost a little weight in past few months and I occasionaly get dry cough( but not that often). Should I need further tests? Do 1cm lymph nodes even need to be further tested? Thank you in advance!

Have you done any Tuberculosis testing that time you visited doctor? There are various causes of Lymph node enlargement. Many times this types of lymph nodes are due to tuberculosis too. Please visit the doctor again and have other necessary testing.
