My 3 year old child was introduced with the first dose of a flu shot before the second wave of COVID19 pandemic hit hard. It was aimed to prevent the respiratory infection in routine as my child got allergy/asthma attack during last infection. He is taking a puff of pink coloured inhaler and a chewable tablet everyday as doc believes these prevent allergy/asthma attacks. My question is: Should I visit the hospital amidst such a spread of corona virus with a vulnerable kid - for a second dose of flu shot and asking doctor about continuation / discontinuation of these meds? Or do you have some suggestion?
