XIFIM contains Cefixime. Third-generation cephalosporin Cefixime, is an antibiotic. It is stable at beta-lactamase enzymes. Due to the presence of beta-lactamases many organisms resistant to penicillin may be susceptible to Cefixime. This effects results in inhibition of mucopeptide synthesis.

Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Check the label for directions before use. Follow the dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor.
Mode of Action
It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Bacterial Infections of the lungs, throat, and urinary tract

Don't use this medicine if you have:
- Hypersensitivity to this medicine
