TERBIDRO is brand name of Terbinafine Hydrochloride 1%w/w. This medicine is used to treat a wide range of fungal infections of the skin and nails, including ringworm. It works by killing the fungus that causes the infection.

Dose and Direction of Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Mode of Action
It has primarily fungicidal action against many fungi as a result of its specific mechanism of squalene epoxidase inhibition. Treated fungi accumulate squalene while becoming deficient in ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes.

Avoid getting in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

It can make your skin more sensitive to sun. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.

It can take a few weeks for the infection to clear and a few months before the skin returns to its normal color.

Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin.
