STADERM is the brand name of combination of Betamethasone valerate 0.61 mg, Gentamicin 1 mg, Tolnafate 10 mg and Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline 10 mg Cream.

It belongs to the class of Anti-inflammatory, Anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal.
Dose and Direction of Use
- To be used topically.
- Apply 23 times a day in affected area.
Mode of Action
Betamethasone: Local anti-inflammatory agent acting in skin and mucous membrane
Gentamicin: Binds with 30S, 50S subunit causing misreading of RNA, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis
Tolnaftate: Topical antifungal, distorts the hyphae and stop mycelial growth in susceptible fungi
Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline: Iodination of Respiratory Enzymes
Uses
- Ringworm Infection: Athlete's foot, Jock itch and other tinea infections (face, body, scalp, nails)
- Eczema
- Dermatitis
- Pruritus
- Infected Eczema
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the product
