Dose and Direction of Use
- Use the ointment in the wounds or cut.
- Do not rub the application site.
- Cover the wound by the bandage so that no dust particles enter the infection site.
Mode of Action
The antimicrobial action of povidone-iodine occurs after iodine disassociates from the complex. Once in the free form, iodine rapidly penetrates microbial cell membranes and interacts with proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids in the cytoplasm and cytoplasmic membrane.

- Promote healing of wounds, surgical incisions.
- Prevent skin infections from wounds, cuts.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity
Precautions and Warning
- Use the medication in the wounds, cuts to prevenet the skin infection.
- Do not use it more or rub the application site.
- Do not use the medication in the burnt wound.
- Cover the wound with the clean cloth or bandage.
- Apply the medication externally only.
- Keep the medication away from children.
