He was a Fellow of American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). He has received a molecular cancer prevention course under Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program from National Cancer Institute, NIH, USA.
Previously he was working as a Chief in the Department of Medicine and Gastroenterology at Kaski Sewa Hospital and Research Center and at Paschimanchal Community Hospital. He was also the Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Internal Medicine II and Division of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara.
