Graduated from Manipal College of Medical Sciences as a first batch of medical graduate of Kathmandu University then started working in Bir Hospital after completing 1 year of Intership for 2 years as House officer under the guidance of Prof Upendra P Devkota in Neurosurgery followed by Dr Damodar P Pokharel in Cardiothoracic Surgery and finally rotating in General Surgery working under Prof Manohar Lal Shrestha and Prof Mahabir K Malla.
Started Postgraduation in MS General Surgery in B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences under the mentorship of Prof Shailesh Adhikari in 2003 and gratuated in 2006 following which started working in Kathmandu Medical College under the able leadership of Prof Sunil K Sharma and had established a skill in Advance Laparoscopic Surgery as well as Onco Surgery working there for 11 years.
Started the laparoscopic services at Norvic International Hospital in 2007 and did the first laparoscopic cases for Norvic Hospital.
Started Fellowship in Advance Gastrointestinal Surgery in Oregon Health and Science University in Oregon USA in the year 2012 and completed in 2013 and also became a first person from Nepal to have completed the course of "Fundamental of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS)" awarded by the American College of Surgeons(ACS) and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) as Champion of FLS.
Started working as the Managing Director and Senior Consultant Surgeon at Star Hospital Limited a 100 bedded multispeciality state of art modern architecture hospital situated at Sanepa Height, Lalitpur since 2017 till date.
