My father was diagnosed with gall bladder stone after the lockdown commenced. He is a diabetic so how complecated can the surgery option be? Is there any other option? Also it's been 4 moths since he was diagnosed. The stone size is 1.4cm.

For the removal of gall bladder stone there is no options besides surgery. But if there is no symptoms currently we can wait and watch! Need the detail evaluation, blood tests if sugar is in controlled state or not before doing surgery!

He is 50 years old. And he says there hasn't been pain. Since he is a diabetic I'm worried that surgery can be completed. Is there any other option?

Is there any symptoms like pain, fever ? What is the age of patient? If not much symptoms currently and the stone is in gall bladder (not in duct), there is not much emergency for surgery. It can be done after the situation becomes normal and even can be waited for sometime more to see other parameters if its okay for surgery or not!
