Question is directed to endocrinologists, here. Age:- 50, Gender:- Female My mother was prescribed the following medicines during the consultation with an endocrinologist before lockdown • Insublip M 500mg (2x) after food • Arbo 50 mg (2x) with food • Gluride 2mg (2x) 20 min before food She was advised to return after a week of taking these medicines. It has been weeks she is taking these medicines, and she reports utmost weakness and frequent hunger cravings. We have not been able to contact the endocrinologist by phone or any other medium. She is also registered in Hamro Doctor, and I paid for the consultation from her, but was not succesful to reach to her. We do not know if she should continue using these medicines and since the lockdown period seems indefinite, we don't know when will be next time we can consult her. And at this moment, it is not possible to get out of the home and visit a new doctor. We live in Kirtipur FYI. She was using the following medicines before, Gluride 2 mg and metformin 500 mg Any suggestions on what could be done at this stage?

hello weakness can be due to hypoglycemia( low sugar) along with weakness is there sweating, incresed heart beat??? do you have glucometer at home?? its is better if you buy glucometer(its easily available at local pharmacy ) and monitor blood sugar regularly at home .if blood sugar is low than have to decresed dose of gluride.it can cause low sugar(hypoglycemia) which cause weakness sweating, craving for food etc.
