My mother is 64 years old. About 3 weeks ago, she had UTI and after urine culture she got Cotrimoxazole for 10 days. She was fine. But since 3 days she has pain while urinating and again pain in lower abdomen and bladder area. We gave paracetamol for relieving pain. What to do and which medicine should we give? She is diabetic.
thank you sirs. dose purai diye ko ho. we did urine r/e today and found packed pus cells. probably due to UTI. due to lockdown and seal of village, it would be difficult to get USG. medical nearby recommended Nitrofurantoin 100 mg three times a day. it was found sensitive during urine culture 3 weeks back. hope that medicine and dose is ok?

hello Namaste. Cotrimoxazole ko dose complete garnu vayo ki nai? aile ko samsya ko lagi Tablet Uripas 200mg once a day for 7days. diyera herna sakincha. her blood sugar must be under control too. Ultrasound of her lower abdomen / pelvis garda ramro huncha. advice her to drink water adequately
